The Caucus of Rank and File Education Workers (or CREW) is an unofficial caucus within the California Faculty Association. We formed in Spring 2024. We are pro-labor, pro-CFA, and pro-higher education. We are a group of lecturers, tenured and tenure-track faculty, librarians, coaches, and counselors within the CFA who are fighting for a stronger, more transparent union, better working conditions, and better learning conditions for our students. Please read our principles of unity. We host events and workshops, and our members have put forth important resolutions to the CFA general assembly meetings in both Spring and Fall 2024.

If you are a CFA member, we invite you to join our rank-and-file caucus and get involved in transforming our union and workplace with union power. You can either join us as an official member, or simply ask to join our mailing list and keep up-to-date with our efforts.
